A rapidly growing company in Northamptonshire is looking for a field-based Customer/Sales account Manager/Client Service Manager who can contribute to a forward thinking and progressive company. The company is ambitious and already demonstrated impressive growth.
The role is home based; however nationwide travel is part of the role, therefore full UK driving licence is required.
You might already be an accomplished account manager with experience selling saas, finance or accountancy software/products. We would be really interested in talking to candidates that may have worked within an accountancy environment that can demonstrate knowledge of accounting terminology and principles looking to move into customer service/account management role.
Candidates need to be passionate about customer service and working with a variety of clients. The Customer Account Manager will guide clients through the full sales process through to closure. The account manager will be focusing on building strong relationships and providing a full product/service offering. You will be giving demonstrations and will need to attend exhibitions and conferences (when safe to do so). The marketing team will help generate the sales leads.
Key Responsibilities:
• Client facing and interacting at all levels.
• Upselling to existing clients.
• primary contact for your leads and clients, ensuring regular communication to develop opportunities, grow the sales pipeline and close sales.
• Work with clients to maximise the opportunity
• Attend conferences, exhibitions, seminars and other events.
• Create and maintain forecast sales performance documents. Provide updates on activity to be shared with the company Directors and Sales team.
• Develop and maintain a sales plan.
Key skills required:
• A proven track record of customer retention and sales growth.
• An AAT qualification or equivalent is required. A higher accounting qualification would be desirable.
• Experience of working with a range of accounting package is a must.
• Negotiation and influencing skills
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent presentations skills
• Self-motivated team player
• Confident using MS Office
• Current valid driving UK licence.
Desired Skills:
• Finance/SaaS product would be strongly advantageous.
• Knowledge of finance packages is advantageous
