Description: A successful international business is currently looking for a JavaScript Developer with React.js experience to join them on a permanent basis. 4 out of 5 days per work can be remote.

Where would I fit in?

This role sits in a dedicated, IT Innovation Team which works to ensure that their products and services stay cutting edge. You can work remotely 4 days a week , with the other day sent collaborating in person at their impressive global headquarters in South Cheshire . The road and rail links are excellent and there is dedicated parking.

What would I be doing?

Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

What do I have to know to do this job?

Put simply, you'll be a very good JavaScript developer, who has recent and proven experience with React.js.

Here's some more detail:

* Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
* Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
* Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
* Strong knowledge of CSS and common frameworks
* Good knowledge and experience of using Node.js
* Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
* Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
* Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
* Familiarity with RESTful APIs
* Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
* Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
* Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
* Agile squad experience: scrum, cross functional teams and CI/CD
* A knack for benchmarking and optimization
* Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git/Gitlab)

What would make me stand out?

If you have experience of any of the following it would be great!

* Python / Java skills
* Selenium / SoapUI and other test automation tools
* Android / IOS app experience
* AWS (SaaS and web app hosting)
