Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager (Nec

Rate:£60K.0000 to £65K. Per Year    Benefits: package (or freelance)
Description: We have an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager form a Client or Consultancy background (PQS) to work on a high-profile MOD / Nuclear project. The end-Client is currently operating remotely with occasional travel to site.

The project is a £35m recladding scheme to enhance the architectural appearance and security status of the building. The project is complex and requires the facility to be fully operational whilst the work takes place, maintaining the strictest security and pressurisation within a nuclear environment.


* Senior QS / Commercial Manager level of experience
* Contract administration experience, specifically on NEC3 Option C contract
* Experience of working in controlled MOD / Nuclear Environment
* Security cleared (or hold previous clearance)
* Ideally experience of cladding
* Risk review and Early warning
* Monitoring Target Cost and reporting
* Managing pre-determined compensation events and new CE's
* Commercial and contractual management and reporting
* Home / Office based with some travel to site

Given the sensitivity of the project, it is expected that the design and construction phases will take roughly 6 years to complete. Both staff and Freelance individual are also being considered to fulfil the role.
