What will this role of Fabricator / Welder entail?
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, as a Fabricator / Welder / Sheet Metal Worker you'll be working as part of a friendly and dedicated team fabricating all the components of a wide range of bespoke industrial doors such as roller shutters, high speed doors, folding shutters, and garage doors.
What will I need to be considered for this Fabricator / Welder vacancy?
* Proven experience as a Fabricator / Welder / Sheet Metal Worker, with good knowledge of fabricating and welding techniques
* Good knowledge of workshop tools; Guillotine / Mig Welder / Band Saw / Pillar Drill / Brake Press
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Flexible attitude, with good organisation and prioritisation skills
What will I receive in return?
As a Fabricator / Welder you'll receive a salary in the region of £19,500 to £25,000 per annum, level dependent on experience and qualifications, along with a contributory pension scheme. Overtime is available from time to time which is paid.
Contract: Permanent. Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm. Flexibility will be required to meet business and client needs.
Location: You must live within a 15-mile radius of the premises on Warrington Road Industrial Estate, Wigan (Greater Manchester).
