Job Title: Quality Engineer
Rate:£30K to £45K Per Year
Description: Quality Engineer required for international expanding 1st tier automotive manufacturing operation. This successful quality organisation are expanding in the UK and are looking to recruit and additional Quality Engineer. The Quality Engineer is responsibility for product integrity, quality and regulatory conformance. The Quality Engineer will enforce global engineering standards, identify customer issues and ensure compliance with the QMS. The Quality Engineer must be fully conversant with ISO9000 TS16949, will be able to act as an auditor and capable of developing and maintaining the QMS.

This role demands a Quality Engineer, passionate about standards and eliminating waste and have a talent for problem solving. In addition to being a champion in Quality issues the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a track record in solving problems, enabling change and improving in process and performance. They must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with all levels of a demanding customer base.

The Quality Engineer should be able to demonstrate experience of:

- OEM, 1st or 2nd tier Automotive experience - Essential experience 
- ISO9000 / TS16949
- Practical problem solving techniques, 8D preference, PPAP reporting

- Statistical Process Control Implementation
- CI best practice and / or experience in Lean manufacturing / 6 Sigma Management (green belt/black belt status projects)
