What will this role of Marketing and Engagement Coordinator entail?

The Enterprise Hub for Mid Wales is focused on creating opportunities, sharing knowledge and creating an organic support network that supports economic growth and development, and is delivered on behalf of the Welsh Government (partly funded by the European Regeneration Development Fund).

As the Marketing and Engagement Coordinator, you'll play a key role in coordinating a comprehensive engagement programme and developing stakeholder relationships in the community with clients, business support delivery providers and partners, in both private and public sectors. Your varied duties will include, but not be limited to:

* Promoting the Hub and its community via a diverse range of marketing activities
* Organising and co-ordinating Hub and community events
* Taking the lead on social media initiatives, and working closely with the Hub Manager to develop the Hub's brand and marketing collateral
* Being the first point of contact for the Hub, providing information to clients, and signposting events and activities that could support their entrepreneurial journey
* Liaising with the Marketing team for additional marketing support when required

What will I need to be considered for this Marketing and Engagement Coordinator vacancy?

* Proven experience overseeing and coordinating marketing activities, with a good understanding of digital marketing, social media and events management
* Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both colleagues and customers in a pleasant manner
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
* Excellent IT skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* A valid UK driving licence and access to own transport

Ideally, you'll hold or be working towards a professional Marketing qualification (e.g. CIM Certificate in Marketing), although not essential.

What will I receive in return?

Salary: £23,000 to £25,000 per annum, level dependent on experience

Excellent Benefits: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, 6% non-contributory pension scheme, dress down Fridays, childcare vouchers, and free tea and coffee. After probation you will also receive income protection, death in service, and an employee assistance programme.

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, with flexible working between the hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Saturday to suit business needs.

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Newtown (Powys, Mid Wales). You'll be required to regularly travel within the region, and across Wales on an occasional basis.
