What will this role of Sales Manager / Business Development / Account Manager entail?

Reporting to the supportive Sector Manager, you'll bring a fresh and different approach to traditional sales to the table and put your business development experience in sales and account management to great use, by managing established and prospective direct accounts and distributors within the Catalysis and Reactives area.

Your main focus will be on maintaining and growing the sales volume, revenue and profit of accounts, by identifying new sales opportunities, supporting and coordinating new product introductions, attending and representing the company at industry conferences and exhibitions, and travelling to meet customers.

What will I need to be considered for this Sales Manager / Business Development / Account Manager vacancy?

* Proven foundation of experience working as a B2B Sales Manager, Account Manager or Business Development Manager
* A degree in Business, Marketing or Science
* Full UK driving licence
* Superb interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and build lasting relationships
* Good time management, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
* Strong IT skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office

What will I receive in return?

You will receive a salary in the region of £30,000 to £40,000, level dependent on experience, in addition to 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company bonus and pension scheme.

The successful applicant will be offered a full time, permanent contract. Flexibility with hours will be required due to the nature of the role.

You'll be working from the company offices in Swinton (Greater Manchester), with extensive travel across the UK and Europe with occasional travel to the USA. Some home working may be considered.
