Job Title: Purchasing Administrator
Location:Ilkeston
Rate:£21K Per Year
Description: I am currently recruiting for a Purchasing Administrator to join my Client based in Ilkeston.

The role of Purchasing Administrator will support the Purchasing Manager with the day to day administrative duties of the purchasing function. The successful candidate will be expected to help manage existing suppliers, liaise internally with departmental Managers to meet their requirements and manage consumable stock levels.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Processing PO`s
- Goods in control
- Stock management
- Cyclical stock counts
- Supplier pricing audits
- Data input
- KPI`s

The successful candidate will be able to evidence and demonstrate the following:
- Analytical, logical and outside-the-box approach
- Negotiation and communication skills
- Tenacious and driven to find best solution
- Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
- Cost control awareness
- Experience in a purchasing environment

This is a full time, permanent position offering a salary of circa 21,000.
