Job Title: Freelance Quantity Surveyor (Utilities)
Location:Cockermouth, Cumbria, England
Rate:£280.0000 to £320. Per Day
Description: Our client is a well-established small to medium sized construction consultancy that offers professional construction consultancy services to a wide range of clients across all sectors of the Construction industry.

They have an immediate requirement for a Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage a Water Treatment project in the Cockermouth (Cumbria) area on a 6-month contract.

You will be seconded into the office of a major Main Contractor and report in to the Commercial Manager on site.

The Quantity Surveyor will also oversee and submitting subcontractor orders and agreeing the subcontractor final accounts. Experience on NEC3 forms of contract is essential and previous water industry experience would be desirable.

Key skills & Experience:

* 4-5 years Surveying experience.
* Experience in Utilities, Infrastructure or Civils projects would be ideal.
* Open to candidates who have experience working for Main Contractors, Sub-Contractors or consultancies.
* Experience working with NEC3 form of contract
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant discipline.
* strong communication skills.
* Pro-active approach.
* Full UK driving license.
