Job Title: Social Worker Leaving Care
Rate:£30K to £38K Per Year

I am working with Barking and Dagenham to recruit on their behalf Social Workers in the Leaving Care Team.


With appropriate supervision assess and provide services to children and families in need within the framework of the appropriate legislation, regulations, departmental procedures and child care policy.

To ensure that services are efficiently and effectively provided, liaising as necessary with other divisions, Council Departments, N.H.S. trusts, schools, Carer’s, voluntary and independent sector providers.

For this position you must also have:

• a degree or masters in Social Work (or any other recognised equivalent qualification)
• 2+ years’ experience in Children and Families Social Work.
• HCPC registration
• Be able to commit to working some weekends.
