Rate:£28 to £30 Per Hour

Children’s Advice & Duty Team

This post is within the Children’s Advice & Duty Service (CADS) responding to calls from partners and members of the public where there are concerns about the safety or welfare of a child or young person. Information taken during the calls is considered along with existing information. Enquiries are often made with the family and agencies involved in order to ensure the most appropriate response for children and young people with unmet needs. This is not a case holding post but does have responsibility for managing contacts allocated for assessment based on information available, considering the Medway Threshold Criteria.

For this position you must have:
• a degree or masters in Social Work (or any other recognised equivalent qualification)
• HCPC registration
• Car Driver.
