What will this role of Systems Support Analyst / Project Coordinator entail?

As Systems Support Analyst / Project Coordinator, you'll work as part of the existing Pinacl team based on site at City of York Council, in a first level support capacity managing and coordinating multiple projects at the same time. Your duties will include, although not be limited to:

* Providing first line support for telephony, queue management and feedback technology systems, monitoring and reporting system error logs where appropriate
* Providing support to the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) and Team, raising any risks or deviations where appropriate
* Liaising with key stakeholders, contractors and engineers to ensure all parties are kept up to date
* Ensuring project deadlines are met within the agreed service level agreements
* Administrating contact centre technology including Netcall, Mitel Client Software and reporting software, QMS, C-Matrix and Redbox Recorder
* Raising support requests, prioritising jobs, monitoring progress and updating users
* Monitoring the effectiveness of supplier help desks in line with contractual agreements
* Building reports, raising purchase and sales orders and preparing invoices
* Organising, attending and participating in project meetings and taking minutes as required
* Assigning tasks to Engineers, maintaining diaries and managing budgets

What will I need to be considered for this Systems Support Analyst / Project Coordinator role?

* Proven experience providing first line support / coordinating projects in a technical / system support analyst role
* Ability to communicate at a first line technical resolution level
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at Grade C level or above
* Excellent IT skills
* Superb problem solving and organisation skills, with ability to effectively prioritise work methodically and in a timely manner
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
* Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
* Self-motivation with ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative where appropriate
* Energetic with an enthusiastic and 'can do' attitude

Although not essential, the following are desirable for the role:

* Mitel, Netcall or Redbox technical qualifications
* A relevant foundation level Project Management Qualification such as Prince 2
* Familiarity with the public sector environment

What will I receive in return?

Salary: Circa £20,000 to £22,000, level dependent on experience

Attractive Benefits: Performance-related bonus, 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays increasing to 25 days plus bank holidays after 5 years' service, pension, healthcare, life assurance, and childcare and cycle scheme vouchers

Hours of Work: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Based on site in York (North Yorkshire)
