Job Title: Public Sector Account Manager - Print/Document
Location:Birmingham
Rate:£40K to £45K Per Year    Benefits: + OTE 65K + Car & Full Benefits
Description: Public Sector Account Manager (Print/Document Solutions)

Polar Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of an international market leader within the Communications and Print/Document Management solutions space for a driven and self-motivated Account Manager to develop and manage opportunities within the public sector.

This position would suit an experienced Account Manager or senior Sales professional with proven experience of solution sales within the public sector, ideally with some experience of Print/Document Management solutions.

The successful candidate can be based from any Midlands/North location.



Responsibilities:

* Delivering against an annual revenue target through the sale of hardware, solutions and professional services.
* Identifying and developing relationships and business opportunities within the public sector.
* Providing commercial input to the Bid Team in preparation of bid and tender responses to ensure they meet customer instructions and timescales.
* Following up on leads provided by the Business Development Team.



Essential Skills & Experience

* Extensive previous experience in a similar Account Manager or senior Sales position.
* Proven track record of developing business within the Public Sector, and experience of public sector frameworks.
* Solution selling experience ideally with recognised training accreditation
* Ability to build strong relationships at all levels
* Excellent communication skills including the preparation of tender responses and presenting to a wide audience
* Strong business acumen with the ability to understand customer requirements
* Experience in managed print and document solutions is highly desirable
* Full clean Driving Licence.
