Job Title: Data Centre Shift Engineer - Watford
Location:Watford, Hertfordshire, Englan
Rate:£40K.0000 to £44K. Per Year    Benefits: 10% Bonus
Description: As a critical services Shift Engineer, you will provide the technical support that is required for monitoring, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding on critical data infrastructure and associated equipment. Working with an experienced team, you will ensure a reliable and effective service delivery that meets (and exceeds) customers' expectations and will work to industry highest standards. In this role you will be working on a continental shift pattern of 12 hour-shifts including night work.

Keys to Success:

- Working as a Building Service Engineer over a significant period (ideally 5 years +), in a modern data centre environment, within a large organisation
- Working as part of a team
- Undertaking multi-discipline engineering tasks
- Computer literate with a good standard of IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft business packages
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communications e.gg IT/written
- Strong customer focus
- Calm manner, able to work well under pressure
- Able to make sound decisions when needed, and take accountability for outcomes
- Reliable, acts as a role model to the team in setting high standards of personal commitment
- Reading and understanding electrical drawings/circuits

The Requirements:

- Recognised formal Electrical training (City and Guilds etc.)
- Knowledge of operation of critical building infrastructure (UPS, Generators, Static Switches)
- Security Cleared to BS7858
