THE OPPORTUNITY:

Get Recruited is working with a rapidly expanding family run business based in York, who are looking for an experienced HR Administrator to join their well-established team.

As a HR Administrator you will be working alongside Directors and Managers to provide HR support to the business across all departments.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

* Compiling and updating employee records
* Communicating and explaining the organisation's HR policies to employees
* Preparing and submitting all relevant HR letters/documents/certificates as per the requirement of employees in consultation with the management
* Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.)
* Manage the recruitment process to agreed methods and sources
* Reviewing job descriptions for all positions at regular intervals and updating them in consultation with the respective managers
* Conducting first round telephone interviews for the candidates
* Managing and supporting the Objectives process
* Organising and supporting any approved training needs for staff
* Conducting employee inductions and facilitating newcomers joining formalities
* Managing all travel needs for staff (including international travel and accommodation)
* Helping to organise key events
* Diary Management and coordinating meeting rooms
* Arrangement of specified meetings and organisation of documents
* General support to the Directors

THE PERSON:

* Proven experience in a similar Human Resources role
* Knowledge of Human Resources processes and best practices
* Competent with MS Office
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to handle data with confidentiality
* Good organisational and time management skills
