THE OPPORTUNITY:

Get-Recruited are supporting one of their well-established, Legal Services company based in Oldham.

They are looking at hiring a HR Manager to join the team, this is a really exciting opportunity as they are looking for an experienced HR Manager to come in and set up the HR Department from scratch.

Candidate must be a HR Professional currently and have the ability to work with a senior management team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Leading and directing HR to deliver a comprehensive service to the Company in liaison with the Director.
* Work under the direction of the Senior Management Team in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to support change management processes.
* Setting up and managing a Health and Safety and Risk Assessment Programme.
* Responsibility for ongoing compliance with GDPR for the company, including maintaining recruitment and employee records in line with GDPR.
* Support the leadership team in reviewing all the salary plans and benefit package
* Manage talent and succession planning and taking overall responsibility for recruitment activity and campaigns.
* Ensure job descriptions are kept up to date and consistent.
* Establishment of a recruiting, testing and interviewing process.
* Create and manage a staff induction process.
* Coaching managers on performance management issues, processes and developing their teams.
* Support line managers in managing their staff in relation to managing absence, grievances, disciplinarians, sickness etc.
* Setting up, managing and reviewing Appraisal Scheme for all departments/employees.
* Pay plan – periodic pay surveys, job evaluation, benefits.
* Implement systems for maintaining current and historic HR records.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

* Must be a HR Professional
* Must have worked with larger companies previously
* Experience in recruitment
* Creative minded – bringing in own ideas
* Flexibility to travel to different offices across the country
* Self – starter and motivated
