Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Rate:£30K to £34K Per Year
Description: Our Client, a leading manufacturer in its field, is currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to join this busy and well-established company.
This role would suit an individual who is happy working as part of a team to improve the operation of our plant through a mixture of re-active and pro-active maintenance carried out using fault finding techniques on electrical and mechanical equipment.
Role specification –
• To ensure all maintenance request and requirements of the PM system are completed in a timely and effective manner.
• Assist with contractors on site to ensure full compliance with H&S and Product Safety
• To comply with and promote all company policies and procedures pertinent to Health and Safety and Product Safety, Legality and Quality.
• To assist in implementing initiatives for continuous improvements to ensure optimum operational and profit performance
• Ensure all documentation pertinent to safety, quality and legality and operations are correctly and accurately completed
• Ensure that optimum performance of equipment is maintained and appropriate cost effective spare parts are identified and held
• To liaise with suppliers to identify and resolve engineering corrective actions
If you are self-motivated, flexible and have effective communication skills along with a minimum of 2 years engineering experience in a FMCG/Food manufacturing environment we would love to hear from you!

Please note -
Shifts operate on a 4 on 4 off rotating pattern and will include days and nights between the hours of 6:00 am to 6:00pm or 6:00pm – 6:00am
