Job Title: Design Engineer
Location:Stoke on Trent
Rate:£25K to £35K Per Year    Benefits: DOE + Bens
Description: Our client, a leading manufacturer of construction products, is looking to recruit a Design Engineer. The Company is part of a leading international group which specialises in the design and manufacture of a diverse range of structural products (Steel & Concrete)

Due to continued growth and an expanding order book, we are able to offer this new position at the company.

Design Engineer Position Overview:
•Providing design calculations using in house design software, prepare product layout and manufacturing details.

Design Engineer Position Requirements:
•Working knowledge of AutoCad (Revit and Tekla would be advantageous)
•Experience in detailing and designing reinforcement concrete
•Working knowledge of BS 8110 & EC2
•Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
•Good communication skills
•Positive and flexible “can do” attitude
•Capability of working under pressure to meet strict deadlines
•Assist with technical queries from internal departments and external customers
•Good time management skills

Design Engineer Minimum qualification requirement:
HNC in construction/civil engineering – or relevant industry experience would be considered.
