Job Title: H&S Manager
Location:Cheshire
Rate:£40K to £50K Per Year
Description: A Construction Health & Safety professional is required by a specialist installation contractor to act in a stand-alone H&S capacity, providing both in-house and project focused advice to employees and clients. This is the company's first dedicated H&S appointment so will offer the relevant candidate to put their own fresh approach into practice.

This company work for international clients such as Westfield and Carlsberg providing a niche construction installation practice. This role is suited for a candidate with circa 5 years experience ideally within a construction related environment to advise on policy, training, systems and deliver site focused auditing and construction site safety management.This company's HQ is in Cheshire but has a UK wide travel remit.


The Role:

* Provide Health and Safety and support for a variety of clients
* Support the implementation of H&S and undertake risk assessments on sites
* Maintaining the company management system, updating existing policy and devising training.
* Conduct audits/inspections on a variety of sites

The Candidate:

* Recent experience in an H&S position, ideally with a construction focus.
* Proven ability in undertaking H&S site management in the construction sector
* Able to engage with colleagues at all levels, developing strong working relationships
* Pragmatic and customer focused
* Experience within a Construction Installation environment is particularly advantageous
* Qualified to NEBOSH Certificate, UK Driving License.
