This is an exciting opportunity to join Applus Intec.

We are currently looking for an Administrator to work from our offices in Heysham. You'll work within our Operations team which will comprise of 4 employees. You will be working alongside Laura who has been with us for 13 ½ years; Karolina 1 ½ years and report to Naima with 6 years tenure.

Our offices are open plan with a family friendly atmosphere. Martin in Payroll makes a wonderful brew and Iain, our Payroll Administrator will thrill you with his conspiracy theories whilst you enjoy views over Heysham Port and Morecambe Bay.

The role will have varied tasks and you will gain experience and assist all departments. We are a team of 29 in total and last year we turned over £14m with ambitious growth desires.

We deliver Contract & Permanent Recruitment Solutions within the Energy (Oil & Gas, Power, Renewables & Nuclear), Infrastructure (Utilities, Rail & Construction) and Aerospace Sectors.

Established in 1980 by Engineers for Engineers. Applus have Offices in 70 Countries.

The Administrator will be involved in the below (not-exhaustive):

General Admin:
• Ensure all admin tasks are completed with 100% accuracy within given deadlines
• Answer telephones and cover reception (greeting guests)
• Open post, scan and disseminate

Sales/Recruitment Team Admin:
• Present Candidate CV’s to uniform company standard
• Prepare Client + Candidate documentation / contracts to required standard
• Obtaining references for workers
• Issue professional “Boarding Packs” to workers in accordance with legislation + Client policies
• Ensure all new workers are accurately administered according to the recruitment procedure + Client requirements.
• Assist driving growth based on sales & service; tenders & presentations + provide the sales team with support to assist with client retention and new business acquisition
• Assist with the upkeep of memberships, accreditation & certification
• Process nuclear vetting/security clearance applications
• Worker “Check-in”, mid-term and post contract contractor satisfaction
• Create and maintain a variety of documents including correspondence, files, records and registers using Word Processing, Spreadsheet and Presentation Packages
• Upkeep of Company CRM tool
