A fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Officer, Generalist or Business Partner to assist in further rolling out & establishing the European HR operations of a leading Technology, IT, Telecommunications, Internet & Managed service provider. The Human Resources Officer position will be responsible for the provision of comprehensive HR support services on an administrative, practical, operational, commercial and strategic basis, for the European operation.

Working for this highly respected & global brand as part of the corporate services function, the position is offered on a permanent basis with a package of up to 40,000 per annum plus pension, healthcare and other corporate benefits.

Reporting to the European HR Director, the role is based in Central London. The Human Resources Officer role is accountable for undertaking a wide range of generalist HR duties in the UK, covering areas including; Employee Relations, Legislation & Compliance, Employment Law, Grievance & Disciplinary Procedures, Policy, Procedure, Best Practice, Talent Acquisition & Management, Compensation & Benefit, Payroll, Learning & Development, Change Management, Succession Planning, Performance Management and Project Management.

In providing a comprehensive support service to the business you can expect to be involved with: Employee relations services to assist in the continual improvement of a rapidly evolving organisational structure, Assisting in the creation, implementation, enforcement & management of HR best practices, process, policy & procedure, compensation & benefit, training & development, recruitment, payroll, performance management, health and safety, succession & contingency planning etc.

A major part of this role will also include providing business partner tactical guidance & counsel to the management team in the areas of HR best practice, business planning, business strategy, change management, employment legislation, employee relations & commercial viability to facilitate the achievement of business objectives to drive organisational performance. You will also assist the HR Director in the implementation of key HR initiatives.

To be considered for this opportunity candidates should possess previous proven generalist Human Resources experience covering similar responsibly to those outline above.

Exposure to rapidly growing, start up or green field environments within an IT, Technology, Telecoms, Internet or other similar technical environment would be highly desirable.

Practical experience is most important however you will ideally be CIPD accredited with a relevant degree i.e. Human Resources, Business Management, Organisational Behaviour, Industrial Relations, Employment Law, Psychology or similar related field.
