Job Title: Java Developer
Rate:£45K to £55K Per Year
Description: My client, a global payroll implementation specialist is looking for a java developer to work on their main software project which is a java web application that supports the complex business of coordinating and running global payroll. The application contains a high degree of bespoke code and has a high degree of complexity.

They are now in the process of modernising this and are looking for a keen hands on person with good platform and tools experience to help develop and mature the platform.

There is a great deal of domain knowledge to get to grips with and this will involve with collaborating with various areas of the business.. They do use atlassian cloud to support their end to end product development cycle so any familiarity with this would be nice to have.

You will have a strong working knowledge of Java (over 3 years experience) including the following technologies - core java 8+, spring prjects (framework, MVC, security, Rest etc), hibernate projects (validator etc).

Also you will have a background in web front end development including JSP, PHP, CSS and experience of javascript frameworks.

A background in payroll or other financial domains would be nice to have but not obligatory.
