This role can be based anywhere in the UK, however the head office is in Bristol, so you will need to visit there as well.

We’re looking for an exceptional, dedicated and experienced Account Director to join an exciting Bristol based integrated agency to work across B2B accounts particularly in the Oil sector. You’ll be working predominantly across internal communications but will be involved in everything from strategic planning to implementing and managing numerous campaigns. You will totally understand branding/brand management and will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

It is absolutely essential that you are committed and available to travel regularly (can be as much as two weeks a month)

Ideally you will be from a B2B background and experience in the energy sector would be beneficial. An astute business mind will stand you in good stead to be considered for this role. You will be a creative, proactive person who is not afraid to make recommendations to your colleagues and clients. You will be happy working independently as well as a great team member.

It’s an all-encompassing, hands on marketing role for someone with superb copywriting/content management and good branding experience. And this will give you the chance to really get under the skin of the clients’ brand. Multi-tasking and working with colleagues remotely is all in a days work.

Duties will typically involve:

Maintaining and maximising client relationships

* Overall responsibility for a portfolio of clients and shared responsibility for many clients; ensuring clients are serviced to the highest standard, whilst developing the long term growth of the business up selling and cross selling in a proactive manner
* Building strong relationships
* Be client focussed and look to completing a task, which will have a positive measurable outcome
* Have an awareness and analyse the client and their market
* Understand the client and their business issues
* Deliver and exceed client and company expectations
* Evaluate client accounts; drive account plans
* Creative thinking and on-going problem solving
* Increase client perception of the value of our contribution, maintaining and improving company reputation
* Supporting the team with new business opportunities including proposal writing, research and presentations

Project Management Ensure the smooth process of projects from initial brief through to completion

* To coordinate resource as per the project process
* To action, plan in and project manage relevant client requests
* To create estimates, budgets and timing plans
* Quality control – proof read and check all work
* Communicate with the internal team and keep everyone in the loop at all times
* Build trust with clients.
