We are a newly established FinTech Media Organisation located in the tech hub of London. We’re a group of experienced, well-connected Media professionals with extensive track-records of launching successful tech events. We are now welcoming another Business Development Manager to our vibrant and ambitious team!

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager at a relatively early stage in their career (1-2 years of B2B Event Sales experience), who is eager to learn but also knows the sales process well and will hit the ground running quickly. If you know little about the world of FinTech, don’t worry - we’ve got a great development scheme in place and you’ll learn everything you need about this ever-changing industry.

The core of your day-to-day responsibilities looks something like this:

• Achieving desired KPIs to exceed sales targets
• Upselling delegate packages
• Building sustainable relationships with delegates to improve market knowledge
• Building & enriching data according to the market demographic, phone
• conversations and research
• Working with marketing to create critical sales path and desired promotional activity

So, who are we looking for?

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ successful outbound B2B telesales experience (delegates, events)
• Determination, tenacity, flexibility and confidence
• Excellent standards of communication
• Well organised
• Proven track record of sales success
• Ability to hit deadlines and work under pressure
• Competence in Microsoft Office
