An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Network Infrastructure and Connectivity Product Manager to develop & deliver a suite of managed Network Infrastructure & Dedicated Internet Access products & services for this leading managed IT service provider.

This Network Infrastructure & Dedicated Internet Access product manager position will be involved in the full 360 degrees of the product development lifecycle, from market analysis & product propositioning through to technical development, product marketing and solution deployment.

The Network Infrastructure & Dedicated Internet Access product manager will combine commercial and technical acumen in order to create a compelling and comprehensive suite of Infrastructure & Internet products. These products must deliver exceptional functionality & value to the end customer whilst allowing significant market penetration and the development of sales and profit generation opportunities.

The Product Manager will provide thought leadership and champion the development and deployment of a technically and commercially robust suite of Infrastructure & Internet products and services to complement the existing service portfolio.

The successful position holder will help to drive customer adoption through the creation & delivery of exciting, robust and innovative product solutions which are highly desirable to an end customer audience of large enterprise, public sector and SME organisations.

The Network Infrastructure & Dedicated Internet Access product manager will take ownership for identifying, researching, designing, developing, evaluating and delivering products which contribute to the overall business strategy and which provide the maximise benefit to the end user customers.

Working for this highly successful technology business as part of the Group Product Development team, this role is offered on a permanent basis with a basic salary of up to circa 60,000 basic plus, car allowance, bonus & benefits package. The position can be based anywhere in the UK on a work from home contract.

The Product Manager will take ownership of the strategic, technical and operational management of the products and the creation of technical roadmaps to monitor and measure success. The product manager can expect to be involved with:

# Market research & assessment to identify opportunities for new product development

# Innovate & generate ideas for the development of new & exciting network products & services to meet market needs

# Define new product features, functionality, design & development requirements, integration plans, product needs & product lifecycle planning etc.

# Develop business plan, product road map, technical specifications, go to market plans, project plans etc.

# Understand and specify the technical requirements for the products suite, assess technology solutions, vendor equipment, technical partners and suppliers etc. keeping abreast of new technology developments

# Technical solution design, creation & specification for all technical network and infrastructure products and management of the product development cycle

# Project and resource management, project planning, product roll out etc.

# Product delivery and project management to ensure the timely delivery of new products and services

# Commercialise the product set through the definition of contractual, operational & SLA terms

# Product profitability & to produce and manage a full P&L account for the product

# Product evangelism, pre-sales consultancy and sales support in conjunction with sales, marketing, bid and pricing teams

# Engaging with the end customer community to further understand needs to aid product improvement, take up and to drive user adoption

# Assisting with product marketing initiatives and promotional activity

# Documentation including; business case, feasibility reports, product requirements, functional requirements, service description, technical specifications, sales & marketing literature etc.

To be seriously considered for this position, potential candidates should possess similar previous experience to include:

# Delivery of Network Infrastructure & Dedicated Internet Access products

# Full 360 degree management of technical product solutions

# Strong technical skills across Network, Infrastructure, WAN, Internet, Ethernet, Connectivity, IP, IPVPN, MPLS, Dedicated Internet Access Services (DIA) Software Defined Networking (SD-WAN), Network Function Virtualisation (NFV).

# Strong commercial experience across Product Development, Category Manager, Product Marketing, Commercial Pricing, Product propositioning etc.

# Effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders

# Confident consensus and team builder
