Job Title: Key Account Director

This is a unique opportunity to join an entrepreneurial events and exhibition organization! You will drive new business development across a portfolio of products and managing the existing processes.

THE ROLE
Playing an important role as Key Account Director, you will be responsible for securing sponsorship deals on conferences, exhibitions and events. You will be working on a variety of campaigns over the year and you will be selling sponsorship on a range of events. The well-known, large-scale shows attract high spending attendees and generate significant orders, playing host to multiple high-end product launches. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key accounts with five and six figure contract value.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who has a strong knowledge of the energy market, has extensive account management and new business experience, and who can handle high value contracts – often up to 6-figure sums. You need to be able to develop strong relationships with multiple senior stakeholders, hence excellent communication skills are a must.

You’ll need to able to demonstrate:

* Minimum of 5 years account management
* Considerable achievements against challenging sales targets
* Understanding of various sales processes
* Experience in handling large contracts
* A driven, commission hungry attitude
* Ideally a strong knowledge of the energy market
* Ability to build relationships with various stakeholders in complex organisations
