This amazing opportunity has become available for a Sponsorship Manager to join our client who is a leading Events Company based in central London. Creating B2B events, this company is commercial in nature however there is a very strong focus on research and innovation. Operating across both established and evolving markets with a prime focus on the sustainability industry. The programmes are high quality with unrivalled speakers, as such they have an excellent reputation in the markets they serve.

The main aspect of the role is to drive sponsorship and exhibition sales for the portfolio whilst effectively managing growth & customer relationships. You will be required to identify and convert new business prospects whilst attempting to raise and maintain the brands profile within the market.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Sales Manager with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in exhibition and sponsorship sales. In addition, you will have experience in key account management and a proven track record of hitting targets. It is necessary that you can speak fluent Spanish and/or Portuguese.

Your key responsibilities will include;

• Achieving and where possible succeeding specified targets
• Maintaining a strong sales pipeline through effective relationship building, call management and lead generation
• Effectively handling all interactions and relationships with accounts in aim to grow the business
• Intrinsic knowledge of your market & competitors, so that you can creatively sell solutions and products
• Generating new leads through market research
• Continual use and maintenance of the CRM system
• General administration duties
• Working in collaboration with internal teams
• Adopting a consultative selling approach

We are looking for applications who have;

• The ability to speak and write in fluent English & Spanish
• Minimum of 2 years sales and account management experience
• A history of selling exhibitions and sponsorship
• A track record of constructive selling & hitting targets
• Professional standard of presentation at all times
• Administration skills – organised and well-prepared
