Job Title: SC Cleared Ada Developer – Start Dates For

Rate:£450 to £540 Per Day
Description: SC Cleared ADA Developer – (Data Links) – Winchester (Hursley)

Leading Global Consultancy has a number of openings for Ada Developers to be onsite in Hursley. Due to the nature of this programme you will require Security Clearance to SC level in order to gain access to the site. Start dates are available for December and throughtout the first 6 months of 2018.

ROLE
Role as software developer for the Data Links Processing system, which is currently in 2nd year of a 4 year support phase. You will be experienced in software engineering for complex, real-time safety related systems preferably in a Naval or military Command and Control environment. You will also be experienced in Ada and Datalinks. Working as part of a small team of software developers, you will be responsible primarily for analysing Incident Reports filed by the customer, communicating remedial or workaround actions to the customer, and for developing/testing defect fixes. Additionally will be required to analyse requirements and design and develop solutions for new functionality as specified by the customer.
Required skills: Programming for safety related systems, clear communicator, Ada, Datalinks (Link 11, Link 16)
Nice to have skills: Military Command and Control; data communication protocols; C++; Windows
