Experienced Payroll Manager for successful manufacturing business near Bath

The Role

As Payroll Manager you will manage payroll operations, ensuring staff are paid, benefits administered in compliance with all HMRC procedures and legislation. Responsibilities include:

* efficient management of UK payroll process (and small Middle East payroll)
* calculation of employee income, statutory payments, student loans, maternity, sick pay
* maintenance of accurate staff taxation records / employee records
* manage administration of the company pension scheme
* end of year processing / management of annual pay review
* maintenance / improvement of payroll / HR related software & systems
* management and data reporting as required
* oversee company benefits, insurances & remuneration plans

The Company

Our client is a manufacturing and supply company providing product and service solutions to Blue Chip organisations throughout the UK.

The Person

As Payroll Manager, you will be both experienced and qualified with supporting knowledge of HR. With detailed knowledge of PAYE, NI, HMRC current regulations, you will have hands on operational experience of payroll / HR legislation, administration and processes. With knowledge of general accounting processes, benefits administration, pension schemes and salaries, you will also have:

* excellent numerical skills with ability to manage processes / data entry
* strong experience in computerised payroll system / advanced spreadsheets
* demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
* work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
* excellent communication skills with a good customer focus
