A fantastic opportunity is now available for a business development manager to join my client, who are an exciting and leading global brand!
You will be required to support and drive the growth of my client's UK portfolio, acting as an ambassador for the company within the UK market, sourcing, building and maintaining strong strategic relationships with third party suppliers and product owners.
Working as an expert in your field, your main responsibility will be to maintain and build long term relationships across the UK.
Main responsibilities will include:
a) Recruitment and contracting
b) Business Development
c) Content & Product Development
d) Revenue Management for new sector
Person spec/ skills & knowledge
•Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook
•Excellent verbal and written skills
•Ability to deliver exceptional presentations and business pitches to potential clients and internal teams
•Commercially astute and able to interpret financial data
•Keen attention to detail and thoroughness
•Ability to build rapport with potential clients of all levels quickly
•Able to independently hold and manage regular high level commercial meetings
•Extensive National and European travel
•Advanced knowledge of MS PowerPoint/other presentation software
•Experience of working in a fast paced, primarily field based environment
You will ideally have:
•2 years experience of working within a commercial role in business development/relationship management/account management
•Familiar with working to tight deadlines and in fast paced office environment
•Supplier liaison/management (face to face and telephone)
•Experience of dealing with ‘high value’ suppliers
