Job Title: Accounts Admin Assistant
Location:Derby
Rate:£16K.00 to £18K.00 Per Year
Description: ACCOUNTS ADMIN ASSISTANT
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join a well-established reputable accountancy firm in Derby.

BENEFITS:
Salary 16,000 - 18,000 (Pro rata depending on experience)
Full time permanent position
33 Days Holiday – inc. Bank Holidays (option to buy an additional 5days)

DUTIES INVOLVED IN THIS VACANCY:
• Performing weekly bank reconciliations
• Entering sales, purchase and cash book transactions into the accounting system; SAGE 200
• Posting journals into nominal ledger
• Assisting with month/quarter end management accounts
• Provide support with the Time & Fees system- dealing with staff enquiries
• Update HR system with staff details, reconcile time sheets
• Holiday cover for purchase ledger and credit control
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will have a great attention to detail along with;
• Must have previous Accounts and Administration experience
• IT Literate with Excel and Microsoft office products
• Experience in Sage
• Confident to make suggestions and implement change
• Highly organised and efficient individual
• Well established interpersonal skills
• Experience in bank reconciliations
• Good communication skills both verbal and written as the role will involve liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
