Location: North West Region, England
Salary: Up to 44,000 + Car Allowance
Working hours: Full time
Reporting to: The Procurement Director

What does 2buy2 want from our Regional Procurement Manager?

The Regional Procurement Manager will contribute to the development of the Company's relationship with our Business Partners and Clients, primarily in the Education sector as well as supporting our clients across all our other market sectors, including Charities, Churches and Businesses.

Responsibilities will include:

Lead the development and implementation of the Company's procurement strategy across the North West region.
Liaise and work closely with the Company's Procurement Director to define and manage client relationships.
Be a key point of contact for the Company's procurement strategy in the North West Region.
Work closely with clients and internal business partners to understand their requirements.
Assess, develop, coach and motivate staff to ensure a high performing team
Monitor and share industry best practices and trends with team members
Investigate, Identify and Implement client savings across non pay expenditure
Research, Analyse and Report clients expenditure
Engage with clients to build and maintain good working relationships.
Provide written support to clients and advise on procurement policies and procedures.
Provide advice to manage complex procurement and collaborative strategies to improve and enhance procurement practices.
Review with clients and their staff on the use and compliance of procurement policies and procedures.
Facilitate dialogue sessions where necessary and support the clients through the procurement process.
Lead and support purchasing health checks and spend analysis reviews.
Facilitate business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with their services.
Manage and monitor the delivery and development of procurement training sessions
Provide high quality progress reports as well as presentations
Achieving client relationship targets and KPI's as set by the Director of Procurement.
Monitoring company performance against service level agreements and reporting potential issues.
Use of the company's e-portal for sourcing and tendering , as well as knowledge and use of other e-tendering portals
Updating the Company's CRM data base, ensuring managers are aware of clients feedback.
Escalating and resolving areas of concern as raised by the client.
To carry out other duties in commensurate and in accordance with the level and scope of the job.
To adhere to and work in compliance to Company Policies and Procedures

Other skills we are looking for:
As a member of the Procurement Team you will need to have a good commercial awareness, excellent communication and relationship management skills with an ability to work as part of a team. At 2buy2 this means that a Regional Procurement Manager needs the following to work effectively:

Previous experience working as a Procurement Manager or a track record of managing client relationships.
Have a track record of managing high value competitive procurement transactions within OJEU frameworks, from writing tenders, through to evaluation and contract award.
Good knowledge and understanding of procurement legislation and contract law.
Have excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships to support the delivery of change.
Evidence of success in building relationships across organisational, professional and operational boundaries.
Experience of managing a team
Demonstrable experience of working on and leading collaborative procurement projects
Commercially astute with proven track record of delivering cost savings and added value.
To be a strategic thinker with an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills.
A valid driver licence and flexibility to work across the North West region
Travel will be required to 2buy2's head office periodically.
