Our client designs and manufactures various scientific instrumentation specialising in Microscope Automation and Optical Microscopy. They are now looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to cover the UK & Ireland.



Key to this role will be prospecting for new business opportunities to increase overall business growth. Also the BDM will manage existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retain business. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.



Key Duties of the role will include

- Prospect within a defined market or geographic area to ensure continual opportunities for business growth
- Identify business opportunities, generate leads, and seek out partnerships
- Find and win new opportunities within complex multi-stakeholder accounts
- Manage existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retain business
- Negotiate and close business deals
- Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company`s unique selling propositions and differentiators
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
