Job Title: Welding Supervisor
Rate:£16 Per Hour
Description: We are looking to recruit a welding supervisor/planner for our client in Darlington. Potentially a temp to perm position there will be an immediate start for the right candidate.

Job Purpose: To supervise and lead a team of Fabricator Welders to achieve health & safety objectives and to meet productivity, quality and delivery targets across a complex manufacturing site.
To accurately price, scope and deliver adhoc activities and projects.
To provide leadership, visibility and direction to the Welding Teams whilst ensuring that the teams work to the agreed standards, to assist with co-ordinating the workload to ensure that the tasks are prioritised correctly and to assist with implementing and supporting lean / continuous improvement activities such as 5S.
Principle Accountabilities:

- Ensuring strict compliance with health and safety.
- Planning and allocation of welding fabrication works.
- Reviewing design plans and engineering change notes ensuring that site engineering and quality standards are adhered to.
- Assisting with scoping and planning jobs, to include ordering correct materials, arranging related activities such as access, isolations, and other such related activities.
- Ensuring that delivery deadlines are achieved.
- Updating Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) database.
- Supervision and line management of welding teams.
