Job Title: Marketing Manager - World Class Exhibitions
Rate:£35K to £40K Per Year

Our client, an industry leading international events company, are looking for a high performing marketing manager to bring a fresh perspective into the mix.

The company has a long history of producing events to a high standard, attracting big sponsors, famous attendees, and a solid grounding in the media space. For you this means marketing products you can be proud of, surrounding very relevant and cutting-edge topics to help bring about a more informed and connected world.

Following recent growth, the company are looking for someone to take full autonomy over one of their largest portfolios – managing a marketing executive to help deliver successful end to end campaigns for several annual events.

In particular, you would be marketing a mass market exhibition that has been around for over 30 years, attracting over 40,000 in attendance, including key government officials!

You’d be joining an established team of bright and passionate marketers, and be given free reign to make your ideas reality.

The role is extremely varied, but some typical tasks could involve:

> Client meeting to gain insight into their needs for the event
> Creating a targeted marketing plan based on client feedback and modern strategies
> Consulting event delivery teams – advising them on techniques to optimise spend and results
> Working with your marketing executive to produce compelling copywriting across channels
> Presenting event KPI performance against targets and brainstorming areas to improve

Ultimately, as marketing manager, you need to be passionate, results-driven and wanting to progress rapidly in an influential and rewarding position.

You’ll be looking for a position of more responsibility, keen to escape the basic admin within marketing or even seeking a place to make your ideas heard.

The ideal candidate:

> 2-3 years experience working on cross-channel B2B event marketing campaigns
> Exhibition experience is ESSENTIAL
> Commercially minded, able to problem solve and identify areas of growth.
> Some man management is preferable
> A natural communicator, able to deliver engaging multimedia presentations
> Creative and resourceful
> Organised and able to juggle multiple deadlines
