We are recruiting a Deputy Manager for our clients 80 + bedded, purpose built nursing home in N.W London. The home has a very good CQC report and provides care for people with dementia and nursing needs, as well as those with a physical disability or frailty.

Purpose of role:
You will work hand in hand with the Registered Manager ensuring clinical governance is at the highest at all times and will take complete charge in the Manager's absence. To supervise, monitor and evaluate the care delivered to residents, checking legal requirements are met along with the high levels expected within the care home.

You will be a confident communicator, with the passion and skills to develop and inspire a team to provide the highest level of person-centred care. You will ideally have worked within a similar setting before and come from a clinical background as either an RGN or RMN.

Essential skills/qualifications:
Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin
Leadership and management skills (communication, planning, organising, motivating staff)
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Knowledge of the Care Standards and Health and Safety requirements in a residential service
