Job Title: Finance Assistant
Location:Solihull
Rate:£18K to £19K Per Year
Description: Working within a Team to ensure that our customers’ are billed timely and ensure that payments are made to terms and accounts reconciled. Suppliers invoices are processed accurately, queries raised and timely payment to suppliers made.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Raise sales invoices weekly and send to customers.

• Post sales invoices to the accounting system

• Credit control of outstanding balances

• Reconciliation of payments.

• To ensure “Commercial Asset Management” is invoiced in an accurate and timely manner, and payment chased when due.

• Check supplier invoices.

• Raise queries internally and also with supplier

• Post invoices to the accounting system.

• Raise payments.

• Reconcile purchase ledger accounts.

• Assist with the reduction of queries on supplier invoices.



Skills, knowledge, experience, qualifications required for job

• Minimum 2 years Finance experience within a service organisation.

• Proactive, highly motivated and adaptable to change, as the company and industry in which they are based is fast paced and competitive.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Accuracy is a pre-requisite.

• Well organised and self-disciplined with ability to priorities work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.

• Able to build good working relationships across all levels.

• Good level of IT Skills, especially Excel. Navision may also be an advantage but not pre-requisite.
