Job Title: Study Director - Environmental Fate
Rate:£25K to £37K Per Year
Description: Zest Scientific Recruitment is looking to identify a skilled Study Director with expertise in environmental fate and metabolism studies. This is an exciting time to join a major player in the sector as they are rapidly expanding with a number of key projects in progress.

The role of Study Director is a permanent contract with a generous package including pension contributions, life assurance and full training and development plus career opportunities.

The role:

* Undertaking the role of Study Director for environmental fate and metabolism studies and ensure that all work carried out is performed as scheduled and to a high scientific quality.
* Conducting and/or supervising studies/analyses according to study plans and SOPs and in compliance with GLP.
* Preparing and QC checking study plans, schedules, data, reports, presentations and SOPs within agreed time frames.
* Developing and maintaining effective communication and working relationships with Sponsors, peers, management, inter- and intra-departmental project groups and other customers including QA, ensuring that excellent customer service is achieved at all times.
* Training and providing guidance to team members and peers in departmental procedures and contribute to development of technical expertise in others.

The person:

* Relevant scientific and regulatory knowledge
* Experience in conducting environmental fate and metabolism studies at Study Director level
* Objective and logical analytical and reasoning skills
* Proven customer management skills
* Commercial and business awareness ​
