Job Title: Sous Chef

Rate:£24K.00 to £29K Per Year
Description: Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef for a 2 Rosette Restaurant/Hotel, 24000pa - 29000pa +Tips (temporary live in available)
At Select Hospitality Cambridge we are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Sous Chef and a Junior Sous Chef.
The Role
Sous Chef and Junior Sous needed to join a team of talented chefs. Working alongside the Head Chef to help manage the kitchen, ensuring the highest possible standard of food preparation and service are met. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Sous Chef will be required to innovate and deliver food to the highest standards consistently, ensuring that all food is produced in line with the companies standards. You will be responsible for the BOH team reporting to the Head Chef, General Manager and Owner/Director. Ideally you will have experience working in rosette restaurants, however if you can cook consistently at Rosette Level your application will also be considered.

Experience and Skills required
• Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Training on HACCP & COSHH systems.
• Creative and passionate about food.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Ideally experience working in a rosette environment
• Desire to progress and develop
• Ability to lead a team in the Head Chefs absence
• Excellent organisation skills

• Flexible as regards to shift patterns
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Creative
• Have the ability to work within a team

Salary and Benefits
• My client is offering the successful the successful Junior Sous chef up to 26,000 and the Sous Chef up to 29,000 .
