Job Title: Dry Grinder
Location:Gateshead
Rate:£11.98 Per Hour
Description: Kinetic Recruitment are working with an established company based in Gateshead with operations globally. Due to an increase in demand for their products and expertise our client is now looking for a variety of positions on a 3 - 6 month fixed term contract.

As a Dry Grinder you will report to the Machine Shop Supervisor. The role of a Dry Grinder is to operate the dry grinding machine, grinding off sand and Foundry debris.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maximise machine efficiency levels
• Record and maintain relevant documentation
• Ensure a good standard of housekeeping is maintained at all times
• Any other tasks as requested by the Machine Shop Supervisor/Manager

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE (ALL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE BULLETS ARE REQUIRED UNLESS NOTED AS PREFERRED)
• Experience of working in a heavy manufacturing environment
• Crane Driving experience is preferred
• Knowledge of machining required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (ALL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES BULLETS ARE REQUIRED UNLESS NOTED AS PREFERRED)
• Have good communication skills
• Have the ability to work on own initiative
• Be flexible when required
