Job Title: Financial Reporting Manager
Location:Brentwood

Description: Responsible for ensuring that the accounting information prepared by the Financial Reporting team is sent to the Management Companies in accordance with Service Level Agreement deadlines and is accurate, complete and clearly presented.

Maintain good relationships with the Management Companies and attend review meetings as agreed within the Service Delivery Schedule.

Responsible for ensuring standards, controls and integrity are maintained across the department for all financial reporting activities.

Main Responsibilities

Ensuring DST meets client expectations in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

To ensure DST operationally meet business requirements. Manage with the team any audit, or compliance visits.

Ensure that all operational controls and procedures are maintained, are up to date, and signed off.

Control and Monitor the work process to ensure the highest quality and minimal errors.

To review and sign off of all Financial Reporting in accordance with SLA deadlines and ensure daily task lists are complete and signed off by Management.

To manage development and coach the team and support them ensuring a full understanding of underlying processes behind the accounts.

Perform regular 1:1s, and Ace Reviews for direct reports.

To carry out any other duties which are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.

Ideal Candidate

Knowledge of Standard Accounting Practices (Essential)

Knowledge of ISA, Unit Trust, OEIC or Investment Trust administration (Essential)

Knowledge of FCA regulatory environment (Essential)

Good keyboard skills to include MS Office packages & systems used within the business (Essential)

Good Verbal reasoning and numeric skills. (Essential)

A good understanding of reconciliation’s and double entry book-keeping. (Essential)

Excellent Communication, Planning, Prioritising & Organisational skills. (Essential)
