So, what will the role of Customer Service / Hearingcare Advisor entail?

As part of the company's Professionalised Care for Customers, your contribution in supporting the Audiologist in store is essential to growing the business and reputation in Winchester. You'll take control of managing the store diary and be an ambassador for the company's brand and values, communicating effectively with clients both in person and over the phone. Your duties will include, although not be limited to:

* Contacting existing clients to recall for regular check-ups and reassessments
* Welcoming clients to the store and providing support for their appointments
* Ensuring all new enquiries are given appropriate appointments
* Keeping accurate records and processing orders for new and repaired hearing aids
* Promoting sundry items / batteries, advising on assistive listening devices
* Keeping accurate petty cash and banking accounts
* Ensuring store point of sale material is in line with current campaigns
* Maintaining the stock levels of leaflets and sundries
* Ensuring the branch standards are kept at a high level

What will I need to be considered for this Customer Service / Hearingcare Advisor vacancy?

* Previous experience working within a customer service environment
* Superb communication skills and willingness to help customers that may potentially have hearing difficulties
* A desire to offer assistance at all times and an empathetic outlook
* Ability to be discreet and show the utmost respect for the privacy of customers
* Keen commercial awareness combined with a motivation to deliver excellent customer care
* IT literacy with knowledge of packages such as Microsoft Word and Outlook
* Excellent organisation and time management skills
* Self-motivation with ability to work under supervision, as part of a team and on own initiative

What will I receive in return?

You will be supported with comprehensive training and there will opportunities to develop professionally within the company, and take on new challenges if desired.

Salary: £14,625 per annum, pro rata (equating to £7.50 per hour / £8,775 per annum) plus an incentive bonus scheme (details will be confirmed at interview)

Hours of Work: 22.5 hours per week, 9am to 5pm, every Thursday and Friday and then alternate Saturdays and Mondays. This is a job share role, and therefore the successful candidate would be required to cover the branch when their colleague is absent due to holidays or sickness.

Contract Type: Temporary maternity cover, contract end date 10th September 2018

Location: Winchester (Hampshire)
