Over the last 15 years Regus have delivered a range of market leading technology solutions utilising a number of global technology providers and ISP’s, in order to meet the complex and changing demands of our clients.

The core Technology service provides 4 main functions

1) Firewall capability
2) VLAN segregation
3) VPN capability
4) Bandwidth management

The complex demands of our major corporate clients (Google, Amazon, IBM, Nokia, etc) need technical, commercial and operational support and this is the key objective of this role.

Regus offers simple, reliable, fast and effective internet and telephony services to its clients as part of its serviced office proposition. However, our corporate customers often demand more complex solutions to meet their own unique requirements. We must continue to support these requirements without having to create complex new standards and exceptions as these would be difficult to support and expensive to maintain

Regus operate as a global ISP and uses a number of monitoring and management tools that
enable it to ensure service availability is maximised, all client services must fall
within this reach in order to meet service performance conformance.



Role and Responsibilities:

The role will be responsible for enabling their designated region’s sales teams to resolve pre-sales technical queries, to work with corporate sales in solution design and delivery for their customers based in their geography and to provide SPOC for regional VIP customer contacts. The Senior Technology Advisor must be able to articulate our technology and product portfolio, positioning it to both business and technical users.

Specific responsibilities will include;
* Work with Regus sales & centre staff and clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensure that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution.
* Provide both pre-sales and post-sales technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes.
* Create and confidently deliver technical presentations, including design configuration documents.
* Recommend technical solutions to the customer in a credible and professional manner.
* Provide technical advice through understanding the technical aspects of customer technology so we meet them in the most efficient way.
* Ensure that commercial pricing meets company objectives, enhancing margin and profitability whilst delivering value for money for customers.
* Ensure we deliver services in line with the functionality and timescales agreed with the customer. In the event of any problems this person will enable the use of the appropriate resources to efficiently solve the problem.
* Demonstrate strong commercial acumen when participating in client service reviews.
* Drive new revenue streams and client technology income through expertise and good salesmanship
* Manage a global team of Technology Advisors to help deliver the services (above)

Desired skills:

Functional and Market Expertise
* Successful candidates will have a computer science / engineering or business degree, and have experienced different facets of the IT & Telecoms equipment / networks / services, typically in the areas of carriers, operators or global corporate customers.
* Customer solution focus is a key competence required, typically acquired in a B2B environment.
* Experience of participation in the design of solutions or development of products/ services which have been successful in the market place and have considerably contributed to the company’s turnover.
* Familiarity with corporate IT networking & telecoms & equipment and an understanding of the business models based upon them.
* Experience managing a global team to meet and exceed targets

Collaboration and Influencing
* The Snr Technology Advisor will have the ability to create collaborative relationships with technical leads/specifiers at Customers, Regus sales and operations team members and be recognised as a value-added partner and resource. They will have proved that they are able to operate in complex multi-national organisations

Results Orientation
* Ideal candidates will have shown their willingness to be judged by their results and not by their plans. Candidates will have intellectual curiosity and also have a great “sense of urgency” and pragmatism.

Key Skills and Experience
* Strong knowledge of Network and Security technologies with excellent communication and customer facing skills.
* Proven ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally.
* Good commercial understanding of how to maximise revenue whilst delivering robust customer solutions.
* Organised and analytical mind-set.
* Strong educational background, BSc (Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related) required, MSc or above preferred.

Structure & interaction:
* Located in one of our key operations hubs (inc. Dallas, HK, Kuala Lumpur, Barcelona, London, Nyon)
* Travel – occasional travel within region, but primarily remote working with team members & clients from office base
