Job Title: Php / Laravel Developer – 2 Month Contract
Location:Brentford
Rate:£350.00 to £425.00 Per Day
Description: Looking to work for an amazing media company working on niche technologies?

My client is looking to bring on someone who has experience working with large data. Some of their clients are big names such as Omega and CNN. They are a global company who were founded around 15 years ago.

About the role

You would be working within alongside a team of Developers and a whole team of others to ensure that the migration of data and blog is running smoothly as well as efficiently.
This is a unique and energetic creative/technology production environment that you would have major involvement with.

About you

You will have a passion for new technical development and innovation and mobile & web technology and have a passion for music as well as development. You would have experience of high pressure and high traffic production environments and have the ability to manage your workflow and have experience with existing process for version control / Github

Essential Skillset:

·Strong knowledge/experience with OOP (object oriented programming) in PHP.
·Good understanding of Laravel (Laravel 5.X).
·Experience or knowledge of how to scale PHP/Laravel web applications.
·Redis.
·Migrating large databases.
·Experience of working with staged build environments.
·Experience of using Git.
·Experience of caching and optimising code for performance benefits.
·Developing web applications for a load balanced environment.
