Job Title: New Business Development Manager (Engineering)
Rate:£35K to £40K Per Year    Benefits: OTE cú50K + Car + Laptop etc

Based – Devon

Our Client are the worlds’ leading manufacturer of fluid transfer systems for the automotive, motorsport and defence industries, they are a growing and dynamic business who are looking to increase market share. They want to recruit a dynamic and experienced new business developer, this is a “hunter” position for a motivated and dynamic individual. You will be responsible for identifying and closing new business across the EMEA region for our Client.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maximise sales opportunities with new customers, being mindful of profitability and turnover – meeting and exceeding target
* Support the OEM team to achieve the above objective
* Identify, generate and successfully convert new business opportunities
* Establish and drive strong business relationships with new prospects and existing customers to achieve revenue growth
* Develop manage and follow a structured sales approach
* Manage and develop your sales pipeline to achieve objectives on time and to target
* Qualify and develop new prospects using range of data sources, using internal CRM to manage a database
* Provide accurate sales forecasts trends for monthly and quarterly analysis by stakeholders
* Ensure technical competence with the ability to interpret and discuss customer requirements
* Ensure compliance to company best practice

Key Skills and Experience Required:

* The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a “hunter” new business development role in a commercial environment
* A relevant degree or equivalent e.g engineering would be an asset but is not essential
* Demonstrable track record in sales reaching and achieving target in previous roles is ESSENTIAL
* Track record of developing and winning new business within blue chip sector
* Confident personality, well presented with gravitas to handle presentations at all levels
* Drive to succeed in sales and against targets
* Strong customer relationship management experience and skills

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and excellent IT skills / PowerPoint

* Able to work effectively in a team ensuring that the best outcome for the company is achieved
* The ability to manage multiple projects at once & deliver them on time
