Department: PMO Reports to: Head of Business Analysis

Under direction of the GDPR project Manager, supports project workstream analysis and evaluates business systems, processes and user needs, whilst formulating business and system solutions that comply with the General Data protection Regulation requirements. Supports the project, prepares deliverables and facilitates solutions in compliance with corporate and departmental project management standards through full project management life cycle.

* To document and communicate project requirements to workstream members
* To support project by designing, supporting and collating deliverables that enable the 8 project workstreams to comply with GDPR requirements
* To translate user requirements into detailed specifications
* Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that delivered operational and technology solutions are both sustainable and meet the business need
* To develop and deliver to the implementation plans for business process changes.
* Publication of high-quality business requirements and functional specifications.
* To analyse existing business processes in order to identify alternative solutions and recommend new approaches.
* Document workflows and results of business analysis and obtain sign-off from client on the specifications.
* Day to day management of change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met.
* Day-to-day management of project or change deliverables in line with either the project plans or block delivery expectations.
* Involvement with definition of test cases and performance of system and acceptance testing.
* Support business in production and presentation of training and user guide documentation.
* To action change requests and helpdesks in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
* To observe, monitor and comply with the Data Protection Act and the IT Security Policy and Procedures in the performance of duties.
* Ensure that you (and any direct reports) are meeting customers’ fair and reasonable expectations and provide fair outcomes. Question and challenge peers and managers where processes and procedures do not meet these expectations and any activity that does not place customers’ interests at the heart of how we do business.
* Ensure completion of all training as mandated by the company and regulated by the FCA.


* Proficient in writing effective business requirements.
* Facilitation of business people to draw out clear, concise, focused and unambiguous requirements.
* End to end experience of the project lifecycle.
* Proven experience interacting directly with end users.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills, from technical staff through to board members and similar external contacts.
* Experience of contributing to the delivery of projects using structured project management approaches.

Knowledge & Experience


* Understanding of GDPR and its requirements
* Demonstrable evidence of analysing and documenting business processes.
* Demonstrable experience writing requirements specifications for Information Systems.
* Knowledge of business processes and service delivery in an Insurance environment.
* Working knowledge of core Microsoft Office products


Knowledge of the Guidewire insurance software platform.

* Knowledge of the CDL broker software package.
* Knowledge of internet and intranet technologies.
* Experience of working within a Private Sector organisation.
