Job Title: Audio Visual Installation Engineer
Location:Oxford
Rate:£20K to £35K Per Year

Responsibilities-

For receiving hand-overs for future jobs where required.

For any tools and consumables required to complete your installations

For the quality of installation service provided on site

For commissioning, hand over and gaining customer sign off where required.

To ensure that health & safety policies are complied with at all times.

To act in a professional and courteous manner to customers, suppliers and colleagues.

To ensure that personal appearance is maintained to a professional level and that the company uniform and vehicle is respected and adhered to.

To ensure that timekeeping in relation to site arrival and departure is maintained to an acceptable level.

To maintain the procedures and protocols as detailed within the company handbook


Skills – Essential

Experience of installing a diverse range of AV products including video/data projection, plasma/LCD screens, signal switching/routing, audio amplification inc. speech reinforcement, video/audio conferencing and control systems inc. lighting, curtain/blind control.

Experience of pre-build including rack build & wiring.

Experience of undertaking technical installations within both office and domestic environments.

Experience of working within an installation team and any third party contractors.

Good personal organisational skills.

Good verbal communications skills.

Computer literacy inc. Microsoft Office & Visio/CAD packages.



Skills – Advantageous

Experience of working with and supervising sub-contract labour

Experience of electrical installations i.e. lighting specification

Experience of working to procedures
