Job Title: Robot Welder

Rate:£9.50 to £14.25 Per Hour
Description: Our client is a long established manufacturing company. Innovative and dynamic, they are constantly pursuing new ways to improve the services and products they offer. An opportunity has arisen for a Robot Welder to join their team.

This is the ideal role for a Robot Welder looking to develop their career with an award-winning company.

As a Robot Welder, you will be responsible for manual and robotic welding.

Your duties will include:

* MIG welders will have experience of welding mild steel from a range of 2mm up to 25mm thick in the flat PB position.
* Welds required will be mainly fillet welds, however other joint configurations will be encountered.
* Ideally a knowledge of reading drawings, weld symbols and weld defect identification would be required but in house training will be given to competent welders.
* General day to day duties include jig work. Parts are tacked and welded in batch quantities using fixtures.
* On the job training will be given. Once training is complete, weld quality and target quantities will be monitored.
* Operating robots and finish welding the product once the part comes off the robot, it would be advantageous if you have previously worked in a similar role.
* You will be operating shifts in this role working 06.00-14.00 & 14.00-22.00. Working a 37hr week with the opportunity to do overtime.
