With over 50 years experience they successfully design and manufacture advanced technical products and are still continuously expanding.

We are seeking for an experienced and skilled individual to support the Production Chief Engineer and DRACAS Manager with DRACAS data reporting and metrics. You will also work with key suppliers to support Joint Incident Review Boards (IRB) and incident sentencing applicable to Production Platforms

You will be required to hold or be capable of holding security clearance. You also need to be willing to travel extensively within UK and Europe

Purpose of Position



* Data entry of Production Incidents into the DRACAS database for sentencing and corrective action.
* Management of the Production Engineering DRACAS toolset in collaboration with the DRACAS Manager
* Work with the Production departments and DRACAS Manager to mature the DRACAS process
* Work with the Root Cause Analysis Team, vehicle Chief Engineers and Domain Leads to determine Failure Modes and reliability relevance of DRACAS incidents applicable to Production platforms
* Work with external Customers and Stakeholders to confirm that the reliability sentencing and Failure Modes are being consistent



Your key responsibilities include the following



* Population of Production DRACAS incidents into the DRACAS database
* Prepare for and attend the Production Incident sentencing Committee (ISC)
* Prepare for and attend the Joint IRBs with stakeholder
* Prepare for and attend the formal ISC with Customer and external stakeholders
* Support updating and maintaining the DRACAS report
* Preparation of material for internal and external review and presentation
* Effectively communicate updates to the DRACAS Manager & Production Chief Engineer



Education/Experience

Required Skills & Abilities



* Experience of planning and implementation of DRACAS toolset
* Working knowledge of the DRACAS process and associated tools
* Experience of engineering platform designs against performance and reliability targets
* Experience of military vehicle systems
* Ability to liaise with, and present information to, multi-disciplined and multi-national team members
* Excellent presentation, verbal and written skills
* Good team working abilities
* Ability to communicate at senior levels



Required Education & Experience



* A relevant or associated degree to the role such as Engineering, Mathematics or Physics, or demonstrated relevant work experience
* A strong background in defence systems engineering
* Familiarity with current British Army tracked and wheeled vehicles
* Familiar with relevant Defence Standards, Military Standards and EC Directives
* Working knowledge of the DRACAS process and associated tools
* Working knowledge of RGA 10 for reliability predictions and planning
