Description: Senior SQL Database Developer. 42k - 53k + Bonus, Relocation.

Ref: MQL. South Coast / East Sussex – Eastbourne, Heathfield, Battle, Hastings.

An opportunity to join a fast-paced, dynamic team in a well-established and growing company. You will be responsible for overseeing the development and organisation of the informational data systems, the assessment and implementation of new technologies, and providing IT with a long-term perspective on the relationship of database technology to the business requirements facing the company. Duties shall include both the design, development and support of stored procedures, ETL processes and data interfaces including OLTP and OLAP platforms to ensure technical solutions meet the business needs.

We are hoping to see hands on experience using one or more of the following technologies in a development or administration role: Microsoft SQL Server; Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services; IBM (Data Stage or CDC or Netezza); data modelling techniques; database administration. Desirable but not essential: developing .NET applications in C# or VB.NET; structured project management methods and relevant technical / professional qualifications.
